Former midfielder Paul Scholes believes Liverpool played less than they should in their 3-2 defeat at Fulham in the Premier League.

At Craven Cottage, the Reds took the lead through Alexis McAllister but conceded three goals in quick succession to Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi and Rodrigo Muniz before Arne Slot’s side added another through Luis Diaz. But the title race still leads Arsenal by 11 points with seven games remaining.

Scholes told Premier Luck Productions: “The title race could be a long one. You’d expect them to beat West Ham and สนใจสมัคร? คลิกที่นี่เพื่อเริ่มต้น Leicester City, you’d just want a team a little bit closer to them – Arsenal have themselves to blame because it’s a real chance. Man City clearly don’t have the quality you’d expect to fight for the title.

“If Arsenal had been a little closer they could have shaken Liverpool. It’s still possible if they win all their remaining games but you don’t think they can do it, especially with two games against Real Madrid.”

“But Liverpool will have a hard time finishing on the pitch today. I felt they had an arrogance of, ‘You can’t point the finger at us today, you shouldn’t have beaten us’, which I think they’ve shown in the last two or three weeks.”

“The carelessness started to build up and I think it came from the captain (Virgil van Dijk). I think he had to make sure there was the right determination to get to the finish line as fast as possible.”
