Scholes fears Man Utd will sell Mainoo-Garnacho

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has admitted he fears the club could sell Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho to raise funds for Ruben Amorim.

The Red Devils are understood to need to improve in a number of areas to regain their place as title contenders, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe previously speaking about the club’s financial problems.

Asked whether United have the money เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย to make the necessary signings this summer. Scholes told Premier League Productions: “It’s a real concern.”

“Where does the money come from to sign new players? We’ve seen an interview with Sir Jim, which is not very interesting to read. It doesn’t seem like Reuben Amorim is getting a lot of money to spend on signing new players. It doesn’t feel like that at all.”

“I feel that way, and I may be wrong, but I think they might sell two young players. I think they might sell Menou and Garnacho.”

“Maybe the club will sell both of them this summer. The Mainoo case is painful – both of them – Garnacho came later but Mainoo has been at the club since he was a kid. He did a great job last year which makes the academy system look bad if a player like him has to be sold.”

“I hope I’m wrong, I hope the club doesn’t do that, but from what I’ve heard it’s really concerning.”
