Manchester United are reportedly interested in Atalanta’s Italy goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi. As a replacement for Andre Onana if he moves to Monaco this summer.

Ligue 1 club Monaco have enquired about Onana’s potential move this summer.
Friday’s report also claims ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี Carnesecchi is United’s first choice to replace Onana if he decides to leave Old Trafford this summer.
United representatives have held preliminary talks with Carnesecchi’s agent but not with any Atalanta directors or executives.
Carnesecchi, 24, has impressed in his first few seasons in Serie A, initially spending time on loan at Cremonese before returning to Atalanta for the 2023-24 campaign. He has emerged as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper in the second half of that campaign and has made 34 top-flight appearances in 2024-25.
Carnesecchi is also in the running for the 2023-24 Goalkeeper of the Year award. Finishing behind Michele Di Gregorio and Wojciech Szczesny.
Although he has yet to make a senior appearance for Italy, largely due to the captaincy of Gianluigi Donnarumma. He has been in the squad over the past 12 months and has also made 21 appearances for the Under-21s.
With Carnesecchi still having plenty of room to grow as a goalkeeper. Atalanta are unlikely to let him go easily unless a high bid comes in.
However, United have a good relationship with Atalanta, having signed Amad Diallo for €21m plus €20m in add-ons and Rasmus Hojlund for €75m plus €10m in add-ons.
