Renowned journalist Guillem Balague has praised Arsenal’s new sporting director Andrea Berta as an excellent negotiator who will surely help the club.
Berta was appoint as Edu’s successor last month, after leaving Atletico Madrid following eight years at the club.
The 53-year-old enjoyed a successful spell at Atletico Madrid, having served as technical director from 2013-17 before moving on to become sporting director until 2025, and has developed a strong rapport with Diego Simeone.
